As mentioned in my email blast this morning there are no new assignments this week as over half the students still have to start last week’s work. If I start a new concept this week I’m afraid I would have students joining the virtual help session asking about two different weeks and I’m trying to avoid that. I am moving on next week, however. You CAN do this-I believe in you!!

 

Please look at my post for the “Week of April 13” to find the videos you should watch BEFORE you even sign on to USA Testprep. You must know the quadrant numbers because they won’t be labeled for you on your assignments. Create your own and use it while you work-you don't need to number it. Just label the four sections with the quadrant information below. You should know the signs of the x and y values in each quadrant:

Quadrant I (+, +) both x and y are positive

​

Quadrant II (-, +) x is negative and y is positive

​

Quadrant III (-, -) x and y are negative

​

Quadrant IV (+, -) x is positive and y is negative

​

• You won't be able to do one of the free responses without knowing that above information and also knowing exactly where each quadrant is located when you look at a graph.

 

For those who are caught up, please make sure you are practicing vocabulary under the Quizlet link I provided weeks ago.  Join my class with the first link below, then start practicing using the other link.  This information can also be found under the main tab (across the top) that reads “Extra Unit materials”. We are in unit 7.

Check your “graded work” tab under USA testprep to see my feedback for your free responses. I am grading them in waves. If I mentioned you should re-do it to improve your grade PLEASE don’t do it until you have reviewed the concepts, okay? I want you to be successful!

Finally, I posted the link to get in to my virtual help session in the email earlier. Check your StudentVue notifications. Your USA Testprep progress grades will start being entered this week once the school has updated our grade books.
